Conducting, Academic bachelor degree and master degree in Music on Lemmens campus, Leuven

The choir, orchestra, and wind instrument conducting course consists of one academic bachelor degree of 180 study points and one master degree of 120 study points.

The course trains conductors with conducting skills to work with ensembles, choirs and orchestras. Central to the training is a sound technical basis, academically supported insight into performance practices and interpretation, a wide overview of literature with localisation in libraries and publishers, a reflective component that mainly aims to stimulate practice embedded analysis and finally, an efficient pedagogical-methodical rehearsal technique.
