JOIN US! - The Next Day

De “Blijf in uw kot”-regel die ons is opgelegd sinds Covid-19 wereldwijd rondwaart, geldt onvoorwaardelijk tot en met 19 april. De vraag die iedereen bezig houdt is wat daarna? De maatregelen zijn uiteraard verlengd en/of bijgestuurd. Maar een veel interessantere vraag is wat wij mensen in deze nieuwe leef- en werkomstandigheden op 20 april zullen doen?

Daarom nodigt de opleiding Fotografie van de Campus Sint-Lukas Brussel iedereen uit om op 20 april  zijn of haar persoonlijke bezigheden vast te leggen op foto en te delen met vrienden, familie, kennissen, collega’s … Door het delen van onze dagelijkse activiteiten, delen we onze ervaring van deze unieke periode. En het geheel wordt een schat die getuigt van ons gedrag vandaag.

The Next Day 

In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, far-reaching measures are in force that have an important impact on the freedom of movement of our daily life. These measures are valid in Belgium until April 19, 2020. Afterwards, the situation will be further evaluated! What will happen on April 20, 2020?

Hence the initiative to unite friends / family anywhere in the world and to ask them to create a photographic record of their daily, personal activities for 24 hours on Monday, April 20, 2020.

This can be a loose story in which the viewer can take part in a journey throughout the day to witness even the most insignificant everyday rituals, both inside and outside. The intention is to bundle these images and see how the world relates in a period of quarantine!
