I'm an European (EEA) student. Which deadline should I take into account?
You have the possibility to choose for different application/ intake rounds.
However, if you wish to apply for a Master Mind Scholarship which is offered by the Flemish government you will have to apply for the first Master assessment date in order to complete the full application flow before reaching the deadline of the Master Mind scholarship programme.
I'm a UK student. Which deadline should I take into account?
Because of the Brexit, the UK is no longer part of the EEA since January 2021. Due to changed migration rules we strongly recommend to apply by the 1st of March as would non-EEA students do.
I'm a non-EEA student. Which deadline should I take into account?
Due to visa requirements, migration policies and travel restrictions, non-EEA students are recommended to apply by the 1st of March. If you wish to apply for a Master Mind Scholarship which is offered the Flemish government you will have to apply for the first Master assessment date in order to complete the full application flow before reaching the deadline of the Master Mind scholarship programme.
Non-EEA students who already have a valid residence permit for Belgium or a Schengen country may also apply by one of the later dates.
I'm an exchange student. Which deadline should I take into account?
The application deadline for an autumn semester and full year is the 1st of April
The application deadline for a spring semester: 1st of October
