- Rent a bike at De Fietsambassade Gent.
- De Lijn is the company that provides public transport (bus, tram) in Gent. If you're under the age of 24, you can buy a Buzzypass which is the most beneficial for regular use.

Genk
- You can buy a second-hand bike at an affordable price (from € 25) at Fietspunt Genk, Europalaan 45, 3600 Genk (nearby the train station) - fietspuntgenk@okazi.be. You can also go there for maintenance and repairs. Opening hours: every weekday from 7.30 am - 11 am and from 11.30 am - 6.30pm.

- If you're under the age of 24, you can buy a Buzzy Pazz which is the most beneficial for regular use.
- If you only wish to travel in the area of Genk (and Diepenbeek) you can buy the “campuspas”. This is also a bus subscription and only costs € 20 + € 5 for a MOBIB-card on which the subscription will be loaded.
