The internationally renowned marimba virtuoso Dr. Ludwig Albert has, since 2010, founded a marimba master program at the LUCA School of Arts, Campus Lemmens Institute, located in the historic university city of Leuven. Central to this program is his acclaimed ‘Approach and Movement Method’, designed to achieve ultimate sound quality and musicality. Alumni of the program have won over 75 international competition prizes, secured major teaching and orchestral positions, and launched their careers as endorsed signature marimba artists and recording label musicians.

We hold three admission tests each year, in March, July, and September. For specific dates, click here. The test includes a solfege exam and an instrumental performance exam (full details can be found here). International candidates have the option to submit a one-take video of their program.
